La Marina was founded in Pontida in the 1950s as a traditional inn.Mrs. Marina greeted customers, who mainly came to the inn from the provinces of Bergamo and Lecco. She offered her guests simple cuisine that was full of goodness.Still today, the restaurant offers traditional local dishes in its menu such as casonsei, strozzapreti and scarpinocc pastas, and fantastic risottos.There is also a great selection of meat and game main courses, such as stew with polenta, wild boar, beef in oil, rabbit, and the rich grilled meat platter.

Since 2010, the restaurant has also offered the rental of completely independent apartments.The accommodation consists of 9 fully furnished apartments (6 suites and 3 studios), equipped with a kitchen, TV, Wi-Fi, garage, sun terrace, free bike rentals and a brand new outdoor swimming pool, which opened in the summer of 2015.The property's geographical location makes it easy and quickly to reach some of Lombardy's most important tourist sites, such as Lecco and its beautiful lake, and Bergamo with its famous 'cittá alta' (the part of the city that is on top of the hill) and many tourist attractions.
